What This Is
When Tyler started Dynamite Lawn & Snow, he had more time and equipment than he had customers. So he started mowing for people who needed it and could not pay. That turned into a habit. The habit turned into a program.
Every Friday, Tyler gives one person or family a completely free lawn mow. No sponsors, no social media campaign. Just a way of helping someone who could use it and giving back to the community that supports this business.
It is not a lottery. There is no algorithm. Tyler reads the nominations himself and picks based on who seems to need it most.
Who It Is For
There is no strict eligibility criteria. This is for people going through something hard who could use one less thing to worry about.
That might look like:
- Are elderly
- Are going through a hard time
- Are recovering from surgery or illness
- Are single parents who are overwhelmed
- Are veterans
- Or anyone truly in need of a little extra help
You can nominate yourself. That is completely fine.
A Few Things to Know
Property must be in the service area
Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo, or Horace. We may expand, but that is where we operate now.
Tyler reads every submission
There is no automated filtering. A real person looks at every nomination.
No guarantees
We cannot promise every nomination gets selected, or even that we will respond to all of them. We do what we can.
This will never be a marketing stunt
We do not post about recipients without permission. We do not use this to grow our following.
Nominate Someone
You can nominate someone else, or yourself. Either is fine. You do not need to write a lot. Just tell us the situation in your own words.
Nominations are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Tyler picks someone each Friday when the weather cooperates.
One nomination could change their week.
